connectors and grounds were coated with silicone grease to prevent corrosion.
look ma, no double-sided tape or zipties! (except for clean cable management) 
easy access to fuses!
overall, i'm very impressed with this kit. the instructions could be improved, especially with the wiring diagram. otherwise, pretty solid kit. i'm happy with the light output and think the philips bulbs were worth the extra penny!
